NEW PATIENTS

If you’re visiting one of our chiropractic care centers for the first time, we’d like you to know exactly what to expect. We want your time with us to be a relaxing, yet empowering experience. Our wellness center is often described as being laid back and casual. We hope you think so, too.

Your First Visit

Your first visit will take about 45 to 60 minutes. As you enter the practice, you’ll be warmly greeted and invited to sit down to complete any necessary paperwork. You’ll then meet with one of our doctors for an in-depth consultation about your current problem. Your doctor will listen carefully to what you have to say and will want to know.
  • jHow long the problem has been there?
  • jWhat initially created the issue?
  • jWhat makes it feel better, what aggravates it?
  • jHow it affects your activities of daily living?
Your responses, accompanied by some basic orthopedic testing, will help diagnose the source of your pain and dysfunction.

If warranted, you may also receive a medical massage at the conclusion of your visit to help alleviate painful symptoms.

Your Second Visit

Your second visit will take about 30 to 60 minutes. During this appointment, the doctor will evaluate your examination findings to help you understand the source of your problem. Your doctor will then discuss treatment options to help you start feeling your best.

At the conclusion of your visit, you’ll receive your first chiropractic adjustment. All treatments also include a 12-15 minute medical massage that focuses on your area of complaint.

Subsequent Visits

Subsequent visits usually take between 40 to 50 minutes, depending on the severity of your condition. All treatments plans are customized and can include specific physical therapies designed to help you heal as quickly as possible. All treatments, however, include a team approach of chiropractic care and therapeutic massage.

 

Once you have been discharged from care, you’re always welcome to come in to the office to see us on a periodic basis. Upon your discharge, we will, however, provide you with specific recommendations and exercises that you can carry out at home.

Future appointments are dependent on your activity level and your basic desire to be as optimally healthy as possible.
